Kmart Super Doubles Coupon Match-ups *Updated 10/1*

If you haven't already taken advantage of the Kmart Super Doubles event...what's wrong with you?  If you're like me, the answer is DH wants to know where I would actually store all the FREEBIES I bring home.  We are pretty stockpiled in the house right now, but it sure is hard to pass up FREEEEEE!!!!!!

Some guidelines for Kmart doubles event:
**BOGO qs are doubling if the item price is $2 or under so you get both items FREE.
**If you use a $5/$50  Kmart q make sure to give it to your cashier before your other qs.
**If the item is on sale 2/$4 you do not have to buy both, each item rings up at the reduced price.
**You can only use 10 qs per transaction, but some stores let you use 20 - just ask!

Here are some coupon match-ups for FREE items and other great deals!

I keep finding more great deals!  Let me know of any I missed!

Saving High at Bi-Lo!

I make a quick stop at Bi-Lo today to check out the NY Strip steaks on sale for $2.99ea.  As long as they aren't too fatty, as I was forwarned they sometimes are, I wanted to pick some up as a treat for my fam.  I found 4 that weren't too bad looking, I guess. :-)  I'm not the best judge of steaks to begin with.  I have no idea how to cook them either.  I also picked up 3 pks of the Angel Soft toilet paper that was on sale and I had a rain check for Magic Erasers from when they were BOGO a few weeks ago.
Here's how it worked out:

$11.96 = (4) steaks at $2.99ea
FREE = (3) 4 roll pks Angel Soft toilet paper $.98ea (used $.50/1 RP 9/13 - q is for 4 roll double pk but everyone else seems to be doing the same deal, so...)
$.62 = (4) 2ct Magic Erasers (BOGO sale raincheck + $1.00 P&G 8/30 + $.75 home mailer q + (2) BOGO  P&G 9/27)
$.10 credit for bringing 2 Bi-Lo reusable bags

$13.23 OOP after tax and saved $18.62 and I only need $5.66 to reach my next fuel perk reward to get $.10 off each gallon of gas at Speedway.  Whoohoo!

Freebies on Monday? No Way!

I hope you got up early enough to get your FREE box of Smuckers Uncrustables.  I didn't!  I had a doctor's appointment - ugh.  Which I might add, I wasn't able to go to because of an 11 car pile up!  Crazy drivers made me miss my appointment (any excuse to avoid getting stitches works for me, wink, wink) and miss out on a freebie my DD loves!

Photobooks are great holiday presents for grandparents.  You can get a FREE 5x7 photobook by becoming a fan of Walgreen's facebook page before October 2nd (shipping and handling is not free).  Walgreen's facebook page will have more specific details on October 2nd, but make sure you become a fan before then!

What's better than going to see a great theater production?  Going to see it for FREE, of course!  Go to 5th Annual FREE Night at the Theaters to see if your area/state production houses are participating in the event on October 1st.  If your area is participating, make certain you get up extra early on October 1st to reserve your tickets - they go quick!

Update on Kmart Super Doubles Event

There were lots of rumors about the Kmart Super Doubles Event, but I read lots of blogs this morning reporting some great successes!  All qs have been doubling, not just P&G!  So if you haven't already, plan your attack and get some great deals!  To sweeten the deal, click here and print a $5/$50 coupon valid until 10/3/09.

Happy Saving!

Publix Penny Item 9/27 & 9/28

The Publix Penny item is Publix 6pk bottled water!

This is a great deal if you have kids playing fall sports. I know you go through bottled water like, well...water!

The Goose Creek Px doesn't have the new Green Advantage flyers in yet (last one exp on 9/25), but they do have the new "Fresh, Flavorful, Frozen" booklets at customer service.  They also have the Better at Home $20 savings booklets.  This one is different than the one they have had in the past.  The previous one only had a few qs in it, but this one has several pages of qs.  It's located near the front of the cereal aisle in it's own display stand that comes about waist high.  The display has both the smaller and bigger Better at Home booklets in it.

These are the qs from the larger booklet:
All are manufacturer coupons and expire 11/2

And ladies...let's remember to practice ethical couponing.  My store had a new display stand set up for Nature's Own bread and on it was supposed to be a tearpad with qs, but the entire tearpad had already been taken.  I really don't believe that entire tearpad of qs was used since all the bread was still there.  I was just in there on Friday, two days ago...The same thing happened this week with the new display stand of Pillsbury Easy frosting.  Don't think I won't call you out, if I see you doing this. 'Nuf said.
